Standard Venue Hire Inclusions

A list of what is included as 'standard' in your hire of George Wood Performing Arts Centre. Use this to guide the items you request for use over the following pages of this hirers' event specifications form.
Venue
- 895-seat auditorium
- Hardwood stage with 3 motorised curtains, legs/borders, cyclorama and fly system
- Back of House: 2 dressing rooms & 2 rehearsal rooms
- Front of House: foyers with catered Kiosk (preshow and interval, where appropriate)

- 1 Duty Manager
- 1 Technician
Basic Lighting Rig
- LED white wash
- LED colour wash
- Cyclorama LED floods
- 6 profile specials
Sound System
- FOH Stereo PA System
- Foldback - 2 speakers per side of stage

Please provide the details of the primary contacts for your event. These people must be present at the Venue for every day of your event, they will provide information to the technicians and be responsible for the signing of all forms relevant to the hire.

Note: In addition to the 2 Dressing Rooms and 2 Rehearsal Rooms included in your hire of the Venue. Incurs an additional charge.

9. Additional Personnel Requirements

Considerations and requirements relating to staffing of your event. Note whether you need multiple operators for your lighting/audio/vision needs. If you are you unsure of a practical workload for the multi-disciplined GWPAC Technician included in your hire of the Venue, contact the office. The venue holds the right to specify extra staff required based on event requirements and will be discussed prior to the event dates.

Note: This is in addition to the 1 Technician and 1 Duty Manager included in your hire of the Venue. POA.

Do you require the Venue to supply ushers for your event?*
Note: If 'No', you are required to supply ushers as outlined in the Venue Hire Agreement.
Do you require non-standard cleaning or removal of equipment/rubbish?*
Note: Standard cleaning of the Venue is included after events and between shows.
